Lacey Appliance Care is an independent team of appliance technicians working inside homes in Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater. We repair dishwashers; refrigerators and freezers, garage units included; washing machines that load from the front or the top, including stacked and compact pairs; gas, propane and electric dryers; and every kind of cooking appliance, whether it heats with gas, propane, electricity or induction: freestanding ranges, drop-in cooktops, wall ovens. Ice makers inside refrigerators are some of our quickest jobs. We keep to residential kitchens and laundry rooms and leave heating systems, plumbing fixtures and commercial equipment to other trades. Our route map is drawn with Lacey in the middle, and the neighborhoods around it, from Hawks Prairie to Tumwater Hill, shape what we carry on our vans and what we look for first.
Every call follows the same path. You reach us by phone or the online form, and our scheduling desk books an arrival window with you. The technician listens before testing, then checks the machine properly: a meter on the circuits, a thermometer inside the cabinet, a fill and drain test on a washer or dishwasher, a manometer on a gas line. Next you learn what broke, in words you would use with a neighbor, along with a single price set down on paper. With your okay, the $99 visit rides inside that price; if you decline, it covers the visit in full. Most parts are already on the van. For the odd part that has to come from a supplier, we book a second stop that adds no travel charge. Then comes the care note.
Lacey gives us our name and the middle of our map. Its housing is young, with a median build year near 1996, so most calls involve machines in their first or second decade. A few city wells carry iron that clogs fill valves and inlet screens. Mail for many houses around Hawks Prairie and on Martin Way says Olympia; we treat them as the Lacey homes they are.
Lacey repairs →Olympia’s soft water, drawn mostly from the McAllister Wellfield, keeps scale low but turns a full scoop of detergent into oversudsing and etched glass. The housing is older, with nearly half built before 1980, so we often fit today’s machines into yesterday’s rooms, from South Capitol and Bigelow bungalows to downtown condos near Percival Landing. Gas ranges and dryers are common here.
Olympia repairs →Tumwater holds the old falls-side historic district, newer subdivisions and a share of manufactured homes, all inside one city line. City wellfields run soft to moderate, while private wells at the edges can bring iron. Propane runs many rural ranges and dryers. Windstorms hit hard south of Olympia, so outage restarts, warm freezers and range resets are a steady part of our Tumwater work.
Tumwater repairs →Phone or the form. Mention the brand and what the machine is doing; our scheduling desk sets an arrival window.
Meter, thermometer, fill and drain timing, a manometer on gas lines. Then we tell you which part quit, in everyday words.
The full repair on paper before a screw turns. Our $99 visit is tucked into that number if you go ahead.
A test run, a tidy floor, warranty terms on the invoice and a short note on what to clean and when.
Our technicians work on the brands that fill kitchens and laundry rooms in Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater: Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana and KitchenAid; GE, GE Profile and Café; Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and Electrolux; LG, Bosch and Kenmore. We carry the parts these makers’ machines wear through most often and order the rest by model number. For Samsung, we handle washers, dryers, dishwashers and ranges. We are an independent repair company with no tie to any manufacturer, and a machine its maker still stands behind under the original warranty should go back to that maker before you book with us.
The last thing our technicians do before leaving is write a care note: a few plain lines about what you can clean or check to keep that machine running. For a dryer, it might be a reminder to clear the lint screen every load and look at the outside vent flap when fall winds bring down needles and moss. For a front-loader, wiping the door boot and leaving the door ajar. For a refrigerator, vacuuming the condenser coil with the power off. Every note starts the same way: unplug the machine or switch off the breaker first. Anything involving gas, refrigerant or wiring stays with us.
The $99 pays for a technician coming to your home, hearing the symptoms, testing it and writing one price for the repair. Approve the repair and the visit is counted into that figure, so it is never paid for twice. If you would sooner keep the old machine as it stands, your bill stops at $99. We never start work before you have the price in writing.
Our technicians cover Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater. Lacey is the middle of our map, and all three cities get the same arrival windows, written prices and rules. An Olympia mailing address on a Lacey house is fine by us. If you live just outside those cities, ask our scheduling desk; the answer depends on where the routes run that week.
Often, yes. Our vans are loaded with the pumps, valves, igniters and fuses we replace week in and week out, so many repairs finish on the same visit as the diagnosis. When the part needs ordering, we write the price, place the order, and schedule a second stop to put it in, with no trip charge added. A refrigerator or freezer losing its cold is moved ahead whenever a same-day opening exists.
Use the warranty first. We are independent and not affiliated with any manufacturer, so a repair by us is not a warranty repair. If you are unsure whether coverage still applies, check the purchase date and the paperwork that came with the machine, or give our scheduling desk the model and purchase date when you call, and we will help you think it through before booking.
We stay with residential appliances in the home: dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers, ice makers, washers, dryers, and ovens, ranges and cooktops. We do not work on furnaces or other HVAC equipment, water heaters, microwaves, garbage disposals, wine cellars or commercial equipment. If your problem sits right at the edge, such as a dishwasher drain tied into a disposal, we will tell you which part of it is ours.
You can pay by card, check or another common method once the repair is done. You receive an invoice or receipt with our contact details and the warranty terms written on it, along with the care note for the machine. Keep them together in a kitchen drawer; if anything goes wrong under the warranty, that invoice is all we need to start.
Send the form or call, describe the trouble, and our scheduling desk will set an arrival window; no part gets swapped before you have read and approved the written price, and a yes brings the $99 visit inside the repair total.
Request service$99 to find the fault, one written quote, and that $99 lives inside the quote once you okay the work.
